Markus Pakaslahti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lasse Saarelainen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jannik Roblaa in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Pakaslahti in the 14th minute of play forced Navigatii Bacău's goalkeeper Cristian Mirciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Markus Pakaslahti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Cristian Mirciu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lasse Saarelainen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jannik Roblaa in the 20th minute of play. Cristian Mirciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Ferrando in the 28th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Ciriaco Ferrando made a precise shot to the right of Cristian Mirciu. Navigatii Bacău's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Cristian Mirciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Markus Pakaslahti, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. With a little luck, Savon Palloseura's Lasse Saarelainen got control of the ball when Jannik Roblaa tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Markus Pakaslahti put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Cristian Mirciu. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jannik Roblaa was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Blas Brun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Navigatii Bacău fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Blas Brun scored 3-4 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lasse Saarelainen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lasse Saarelainen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jannik Roblaa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute, Illés Pucheli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Savon Palloseura made a substitution. Cris Romero replaced Joel Grönvall. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciriaco Ferrando got free with Cristian Mirciu in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute Blas Brun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lasse Saarelainen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blas Brun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Lasse Saarelainen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Mirciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Ferrando in the 86th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Ferrando in the 88th minute of play forced Navigatii Bacău's goalkeeper Cristian Mirciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iosif Macamete during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Savon Palloseura booed when Navigatii Bacău was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iosif Macamete didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciriaco Ferrando took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristian Mirciu. Navigatii Bacău's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match was over Savon Palloseura could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Navigatii Bacău throughout the match.
