Fc Aroosos's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 15 minutes in the game Lucian Şandru did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Dumitru Nichita. Gustaw Erland blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Costin Giugiuc having to make a save. A.C. Milan's Costin Giugiuc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save A.C. Milan from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute Eduard Crăcană shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Mazzola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Mazzola stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dumitru Zdrăilă's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustaw Erland in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Costin Giugiuc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernardo Mazzola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduard Crăcană in the 23rd minute of the match. Eduard Crăcană sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dumitru Nichita in the 29th minute of play forced Fc Aroosos's goalkeeper Bernardo Mazzola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costin Giugiuc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaw Erland in the 32nd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Gustaw Erland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Aroosos's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaw Erland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Costin Giugiuc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience held their breath when Lucian Şandru in the 60th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Bernardo Mazzola's left hand side.
