Spectators: 187 (Terracing: 141, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mateusz Damazki started the match with the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 3rd minute by Alexis Alexandris got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Walter Giardino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ryszard Lerych read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute tHe SOnS of rAGnar were awarded a corner. Grigoris Kornaros went to the cornerflag to take it. Bartosz Kiepski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Sá having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Witomir Banaszak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Walter Giardino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ryszard Lerych was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Ryszard Lerych showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Giardino, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute tHe SOnS of rAGnar were awarded a corner. Grigoris Kornaros went to the cornerflag to take it. Izydor Jarosiewicz tried in the 23rd minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Ryszard Lerych a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-0. 26 minutes into the match, tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Walter Giardino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ryszard Lerych narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Walter Giardino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ryszard Lerych, 2-0. Ryszard Lerych came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Walter Giardino. But to his dismay, Walter Giardino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Walter Giardino in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ryszard Lerych prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Walter Giardino succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 38th playminute. Walter Giardino in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ryszard Lerych, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Walter Giardino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryszard Lerych having to interfere. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Ulysses Matorin was substituted for Grigoris Kornaros.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Walter Giardino to make the kick off. José Sá was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bartosz Kiepski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 52 minute of play. Walter Giardino struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Ryszard Lerych didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for tHe SOnS of rAGnar. When tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Walter Giardino in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye POLONIA BYTOM's goalie prevented a goal. 62 minutes into the match, POLONIA BYTOM's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Giardino came free, but Ryszard Lerych reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 minutes POLONIA BYTOM's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Laurence Snow who took care of the corner kick. The corner led tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Walter Giardino to fire away a dangerous shot which Ryszard Lerych despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The tHe SOnS of rAGnar fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Walter Giardino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 68th minute, Zdzislaw Sroka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in POLONIA BYTOM's zone, Walter Giardino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ryszard Lerych came out of the goal and Walter Giardino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. POLONIA BYTOM's Ryszard Lerych played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Giardino in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute of the match tHe SOnS of rAGnar got a corner. POLONIA BYTOM's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Laurence Snow ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Alexis Alexandris got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ryszard Lerych quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 76th minute, Bartosz Kiepski made a precise shot to the right of José Sá. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. Ryszard Lerych made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurence Snow in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by POLONIA BYTOM's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Laurence Snow was slow to take the kick. During this time tHe SOnS of rAGnar's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on tHe SOnS of rAGnar's corner Laurence Snow fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ryszard Lerych quite easily take care of the ball. Zdzislaw Sroka hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. POLONIA BYTOM's Ryszard Lerych played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Giardino in the 85th minute of play. After 87 minutes of play, tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Telis Ntasios made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ryszard Lerych was left in no man's land by his defense there! tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Walter Giardino got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of POLONIA BYTOM booed when tHe SOnS of rAGnar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulysses Matorin didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mateusz Damazki in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Sá saved tHe SOnS of rAGnar from getting behind. Ryszard Lerych stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walter Giardino's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Ryszard Lerych made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexis Alexandris in the 96th minute of play. tHe SOnS of rAGnar were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of POLONIA BYTOM for a fine match.
