Gigi Penaru made in the 3rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gigi Penaru however managed to control. 9 minutes into the match, Flamengo FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Mo Yi Sang came free, but Dmytro Novak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th match minute, San Lorenzo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Llorienzo to maneuver through the defense. Matias Carlomagno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramón Furtado in the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Mo Yi Sang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dmytro Novak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Flamengo FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Mo Yi Sang came free, but Dmytro Novak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. San Lorenzo's Matias Carlomagno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramón Furtado in the 23rd minute of play. After some careless play in the San Lorenzo defense, Ramón Furtado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matias Carlomagno. The San Lorenzo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matias Carlomagno should have stopped the shot. 31 minutes into the game, Stefan Banaszak recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Matias Carlomagno. Stefan Banaszak showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mo Yi Sang in the 36th minute of play forced Flamengo FSCMZ's goalkeeper Dmytro Novak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matias Carlomagno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramón Furtado in the 43rd minute of play. Ramón Furtado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Mo Yi Sang made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Flamengo FSCMZ booed when San Lorenzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigi Penaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Severo Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Lorenzo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flamengo FSCMZ the free kick. After 63 played minutes San Lorenzo got a freekick which was hit by Severo Santos. In the 64th minute, Ramón Furtado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flamengo FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramón Furtado in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matias Carlomagno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Flamengo FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after San Lorenzo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcus de Godoi took the corner. Matias Carlomagno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramón Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Flamengo FSCMZ's Dmytro Novak got control of the ball when Mo Yi Sang tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rd match minute, San Lorenzo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gigi Penaru to maneuver through the defense. Ramón Furtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Carlomagno having to interfere. Flamengo FSCMZ's Dmytro Novak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mo Yi Sang in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Banaszak in the 92nd minute of play forced San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Matias Carlomagno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flamengo FSCMZ's attentive Şensoy Peyam managed to snatch the ball when Gigi Penaru made a throw-in in the 95th minute of the game. 96 minutes into the match, Flamengo FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Mo Yi Sang came free, but Dmytro Novak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Flamengo FSCMZ had won after a very even match.
