Clément Labonne kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Anacleto Guter made in the 7th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Aristides Peli however managed to control. Anselmo Iturri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Dmytro Novak made a huge save. 15 minutes into the game, Ramón Furtado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Peng Xu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ramón Furtado took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peng Xu. Peng Xu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramón Furtado in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peng Xu saved Kiev FC from getting behind. Flamengo FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcus de Godoi in the 34th minute. Peng Xu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramón Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurinho Meira kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Kiev FC's Anselmo Iturri got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st match minute, Kiev FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeronimo Frutos to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute Ramón Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peng Xu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramón Furtado in the 47th minute of play forced Kiev FC's goalkeeper Peng Xu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramón Furtado made a kick off. Stefan Banaszak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Peng Xu made a huge save. The supporters of Flamengo FSCMZ booed when Kiev FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeronimo Frutos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peng Xu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stefan Banaszak in the 58th minute. Peng Xu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramón Furtado went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Kiev FC's Ladislao Batista was substituted for Rodolfo Burni. After 74 played minutes Kiev FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeronimo Frutos. In the 75thth minute of the game Ramón Furtado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kiev FC's Peng Xu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dmytro Novak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Iturri in the 77th minute of play. Kiev FC's Peng Xu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramón Furtado in the 79th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Şensoy Peyam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Kiev FC's Benny Stahlschmidt got a free kick in the 87th minute. If Anselmo Iturri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
