In the 18th minute of the game Hüsrev Aydınalp made a throw-in which Seppo Palsola played forward. 20 minutes into the game, San Nicolò Kings's Ernesto Tagliente nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paco Zamora made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Franco Catucci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yao Kun Lei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Ernesto Tagliente left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Nicolò Kings fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. GALATASARAY O.Z.'s Paco Zamora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nedo Nadi in the 30th minute of play. Franco Catucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from J.J J.J. in the 32nd minute of play. Yao Kun Lei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Franco Catucci made a huge save. Alexsandro Romero might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franco Catucci. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Davide Bertolini was the one to do the kick off. San Nicolò Kings's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ludomir Domin ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on GALATASARAY O.Z.'s corner Seppo Palsola fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Franco Catucci quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, San Nicolò Kings's Camillo Stefano got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Paco Zamora made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when April Kul sent off a good shot on target. After 87 minutes GALATASARAY O.Z.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nildo Sena who took care of the corner kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of GALATASARAY O.Z.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of San Nicolò Kings:s goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yao Kun Lei in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franco Catucci prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 94th minute of the match, Ernesto Tagliente tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Paco Zamora saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nedo Nadi got free with Paco Zamora in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yao Kun Lei in the 99th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franco Catucci prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched San Nicolò Kings eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
