Thanks to some nice moves Mugur Simionică could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Iacob Povară however easily saved by the left post. 27 minutes into the match, Del Materno Vengo's goal looked a bit too open when Gheorghe Bociort came free, but 袁渊斌 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Gustavo Mangueira might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iacob Povară. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Gustavo Mangueira ran back to his position shaking his head. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Iacob Povară played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Gustavo Mangueira in the 29th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Francisc Ciocoiu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 袁渊斌. Iacob Povară made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Gustavo Mangueira in the 44th minute. The audience was convinced that Gheorghe Bociort's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 袁渊斌 was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisc Ciocoiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
