Atibaia Raiders's Davi Moreira got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Ferdinand in the 15th minute of play forced Uí Fergusa's goalkeeper Sergio Rochet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atibaia Raiders's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonsinho Mesquita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergio Rochet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Atibaia Raiders's Davi Moreira got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute of the match, Walery Pazura got a very nice opportunity to score, but Juan Carlos Olave was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geronimo Ciceron got free with Juan Carlos Olave in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Túlio Maravilha hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seán Frankson in the 35th minute of play forced Atibaia Raiders's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Olave to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Seán Frankson in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Carlos Olave prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sergio Rochet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonsinho Mesquita in the 40th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute of the match, Seán Frankson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Juan Carlos Olave saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Seán Frankson was the one to do the kick off. Pål Stensson kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Atibaia Raiders's Afonsinho Mesquita got a free kick in the 57th minute. Geronimo Ciceron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Carlos Olave having to interfere. Juan Carlos Olave stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Seán Frankson's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Amorim in the 63rd minute of play forced Uí Fergusa's goalkeeper Sergio Rochet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Atibaia Raiders's Pål Stensson got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Pål Stensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute Vladimir Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Rochet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Lugano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Juan Carlos Olave. Atibaia Raiders's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 74th minute, Seán Frankson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uí Fergusa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a rather tough play, Uí Fergusa's Lochlainn Holt got a free kick in the 78th minute. Sergio Rochet acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 78th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Davi Moreira. 80 minutes into the match, Atibaia Raiders's goal looked a bit too open when Seán Frankson came free, but Juan Carlos Olave reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Seán Frankson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Davi Moreira hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Falcão Montenegro hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
