In the 6th minute Ronaldo Nazário De Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernan Llorian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Warren FC - DMZ's Bernardo Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Gregory in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Ronaldo Nazário De Lima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernan Llorian was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 12th match minute, Warren FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yan Gang Bang to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yan Gang Bang during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th minute Ronaldo Nazário De Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernan Llorian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, F.C. Ronaldo Nazário De Lima's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernan Llorian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The F.C. Spartak Moscow players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Warren FC - DMZ were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Ronaldo Nazário De Lima made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of F.C. Spartak Moscow booed when Warren FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélio Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Warren FC - DMZ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than F.C. Spartak Moscow throughout the match.
