The Los Delfines fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Los Delfines's Oliver Bierhoff looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Oliver Bierhoff struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Fernan Llorian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Delfines. In the 11th minute, Oscar Orzaize hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute, Oliver Bierhoff left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Delfines fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 17th match minute, Los Delfines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Goyo to maneuver through the defense. Fernan Llorian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Bierhoff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 minutes F.C. Spartak Moscow's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valentin Primeiro who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Los Delfines's corner Valentin Primeiro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fernan Llorian quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Oliver Bierhoff's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernan Llorian was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. In the 29th minute, Fausto Abadie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Spartak Moscow's zone, Raimundo Goyo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernan Llorian came out of the goal and Raimundo Goyo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 46 played minutes F.C. Spartak Moscow got a freekick which was hit by Damaso Baumar. Los Delfines's Valentin Primeiro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 47th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for F.C. Spartak Moscow. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Oliver Bierhoff made the kick off in the second half. The Los Delfines fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Los Delfines's Oliver Bierhoff looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. F.C. Fernan Llorian yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Fausto Abadie hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Los Delfines's Zachary Pliszka was substituted for Oliver Bierhoff. Los Delfines's Victor Jerrold was substituted for Oran Gutti. Los Delfines's Lu Bin Yuan was substituted for Hector Abadia. In the 62nd minute, Fausto Abadie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matías Patrone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Colas in the 65th minute of play. Cesar Colas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Los Delfines fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Los Delfines's Zachary Pliszka looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zachary Pliszka received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fernan Llorian came out and tried to block the shot, but Zachary Pliszka slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 73rd minute. Los Delfines's Matías Patrone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Gregory in the 78th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, F.C. Spartak Moscow's goalkeeper Fernan Llorian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lu Bin Yuan. If Lu Bin Yuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Zachary Pliszka put it in 0-10 from a short distance just to the right of Fernan Llorian. Fernan Llorian didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Los Delfines's Zachary Pliszka shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-11 in the ordered_time% minute. Los Delfines's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
