Spectators: 163 (Terracing: 123, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcial Navarro started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Lorenzo Martinez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amador Rafel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Silverio Mendez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Arrecifes's Marcial Navarro in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Deportivo Diamante U18's goalie prevented a goal. After 13th play minutes Marcial Navarro shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Gregorio Fagildo and just under the crossbar into goal. After 16 minutes, Idrak Mahmudov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arrecifes and the Deportivo Diamante U18 players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Arrecifes getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Idrak Mahmudov hit a great ball. After having played for 18 minutes, Hugo Nicholas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arrecifes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Nicholas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gregorio Fagildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Navarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Silverio Mendez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Maiorga in the 22nd minute of the match. After 25 minutes of play, Arrecifes's Marcial Navarro made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gregorio Fagildo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 28 minutes into the game, Deportivo Diamante U18's Conrado Maiorga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silverio Mendez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Silverio Mendez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Valiente in the 33rd minute of the match. Silverio Mendez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Maiorga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Marcial Navarro notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Deportivo Diamante U18's Gregorio Fagildo. Gregorio Fagildo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lorenzo Martinez's late challenge caught a Deportivo Diamante U18's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lorenzo Martinez helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Arrecifes getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Lorenzo Martinez hit a great ball. Lorenzo Martinez got his second yellow card in the match during the 47th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conrado Maiorga made a kick off. Arrecifes's Carlos Eufrasio got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 57 minutes into the game, Fernando Firme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Diamante U18's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arrecifes the free kick. In the 57th match minute, Deportivo Diamante U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Firme to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Nicholas hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Silverio Mendez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amador Rafel in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's Marcial Navarro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gregorio Fagildo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Marcial Navarro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arrecifes's Higinio Karlo was substituted for Anier Aballe. Arrecifes's Igor Emmanuel was substituted for Marcial Navarro. With a little luck, Arrecifes's Silverio Mendez got control of the ball when Conrado Maiorga tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 77th minute, Cesar Gau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silverio Mendez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Maiorga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Conrado Maiorga took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silverio Mendez. Silverio Mendez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. The supporters of Deportivo Diamante U18 booed when Arrecifes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Karlo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Emmanuel in the 94th minute of play forced Deportivo Diamante U18's goalkeeper Gregorio Fagildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Carlos Eufrasio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Arrecifes fans cheered their team off the field, for while Deportivo Diamante U18 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
