After having played for 15 minutes, Alekos Voreadis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INTER Sosnowiec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alekos Voreadis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Ethan Mbappè had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roger Short. KS Tęcza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ethan Mbappè was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 26 minutes into the match, INTER Sosnowiec's Maximilian Stålman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roger Short narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Jerzy Rukszcz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Patryk Olejarz. The goal made the score 1-2. Roger Short showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bror Nordstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, KS Tęcza's goal looked a bit too open when Bror Nordstedt came free, but Roger Short reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alekos Voreadis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. INTER Sosnowiec's Eugeniusz Kociniewski was substituted for Traian Băsescu. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

KS Tęcza's Roger Short played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bror Nordstedt in the 51st minute of play. Ethan Mbappè did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-4 to the left of a surprised Roger Short 54 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute Bror Nordstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Short saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the last second Roger Short throw himself and got hold of the ball when Bror Nordstedt in the 60thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by KS Tęcza's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rene Kreiser was slow to take the kick. During this time INTER Sosnowiec's players had a chance to rest. 67 minutes into the match, KS Tęcza's goal looked a bit too open when Ethan Mbappè came free, but Roger Short reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, KS Tęcza's Roger Short got control of the ball when Bror Nordstedt tried to sneak it across the goal line. 68 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when INTER Sosnowiec's Bror Nordstedt fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. In the 72nd minute Pankracy Mlekodaj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patryk Olejarz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
