After 2 minutes of play, ALTHENTIC F.C's Elco Das made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vladimiro Medeiros was left in no man's land by his defense there! ALTHENTIC F.C were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Vaz FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Claudinei Xavier took the corner. Mila Gröhe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Mourinho in the 8th minute of play. Betão de Medeiros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Vladimiro Medeiros made a huge save. Elco Das's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimiro Medeiros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, ALTHENTIC F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Teodor Cercel came free, but Mila Gröhe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mila Gröhe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodor Cercel, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. If Elco Das had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Vaz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elco Das came free, but Vladimiro Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladimiro Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elco Das in the 24th minute of the match. The supporters of ALTHENTIC F.C booed when Vaz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vladimiro Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elco Das, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Claudinei Xavier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 33 in the game by Elco Das from a close distance when the talented Vladimiro Medeiros managed to make a qualified save. Vaz FC's players were relieved. After having played for 36 minutes, Elco Das managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ALTHENTIC F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elco Das was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mila Gröhe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egídio Zambujal in the 38th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elco Das in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimiro Medeiros saved Vaz FC from getting behind. Vladimiro Medeiros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elco Das's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. ALTHENTIC F.C's Betão de Medeiros got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vladimiro Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elco Das in the 43rd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elco Das was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betão de Medeiros in the 52nd minute of play forced Vaz FC's goalkeeper Vladimiro Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Vaz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Xavier came free, but Vladimiro Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute Elco Das shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute ALTHENTIC F.C were awarded a corner. Claudinei Xavier went to the cornerflag to take it. ALTHENTIC F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Claudinei Xavier in the 60th minute. The corner led ALTHENTIC F.C's Elco Das to a score. 3-0 in the 61st minute. Vladimiro Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betão de Medeiros in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elco Das in the 69th minute of play forced Vaz FC's goalkeeper Vladimiro Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 71st minute, but Mila Gröhe got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving ALTHENTIC F.C hanging dry this time. Vladimiro Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betão de Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Tor-Henrik Vika's late challenge caught a Vaz FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tor-Henrik Vika helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in ALTHENTIC F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Mila Gröhe, was totally fooled by Vaz FC's Caio Liberato, who 76 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elco Das in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimiro Medeiros saved Vaz FC from getting behind. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vaz FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Claudinei Xavier was slow to take the kick. During this time ALTHENTIC F.C's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Vaz FC's goalie and right to Hermengildo Laurentzi. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Vaz FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elco Das in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vladimiro Medeiros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Vaz FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Flavio Xabel hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the match, Elco Das notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Vaz FC's Vladimiro Medeiros. Vladimiro Medeiros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that ALTHENTIC F.C were the better team. ALTHENTIC F.C's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
