An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alberto Massa in the 27th minute of play forced Ponta da Praia FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Vides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ponta da Praia FC's Gustavo Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Alberto Massa in the 40th minute of play. Ponta da Praia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nascidos Para Jogar F.C the free kick. A collision led to Ponta da Praia FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Wiliam Santos hit a great ball. Gustavo Vides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaltino Fonseca in the 69th minute of the match.
