The throw-in from Gaston Koldo in the 14th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Soflov FC's Marcus Briceag. Soflov FC's Patricio Salamon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Idacio in the 18th minute of play. Gloria's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. David Oriol ran over to the corner to take the kick. Victor Idacio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patricio Salamon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Idacio's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. In the 48th minute Soflov FC were awarded a corner. David Oriol went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Soflov FC's Osvaldo Olguín getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After the first half Gloria were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Feliks Nieruchliwy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gloria's Bohuš Kadleček played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliks Nieruchliwy in the 54th minute of play. Feliks Nieruchliwy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bohuš Kadleček having to interfere. Bohuš Kadleček made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliks Nieruchliwy in the 91st minute of play. Soflov FC's Patricio Salamon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Idacio in the 95th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Soflov FC's Remigio Mikelats got a free kick in the 96th minute. If Victor Idacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Soflov FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gloria's performance. The match ended with a win for Gloria.
