Botello Pinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Azevedo in the 20th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, FURIA MACHALEÑA S.C's goal looked a bit too open when Fachri Puang came free, but Botello Pinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gomez Arizabal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Mekki Item made a huge save. The FURIA MACHALEÑA S.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bandung Tigers were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zulkarnaen Mandaga to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fachri Puang in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Botello Pinto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 52nd minute, Zulkarnaen Mandaga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Zulkarnaen Mandaga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Botello Pinto. That made the score 0-3 in the 54 minute of play. Zulkarnaen Mandaga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Botello Pinto made a huge save. Zulkarnaen Mandaga struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Botello Pinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bandung Tigers. In the 67th minute, Zulkarnaen Mandaga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zulkarnaen Mandaga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Botello Pinto made a huge save. Neycho Sergiev hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zulkarnaen Mandaga in the 83rd minute of play forced FURIA MACHALEÑA S.C's goalkeeper Botello Pinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Botello Pinto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zulkarnaen Mandaga in the 86th minute. In the 90th minute Neycho Sergiev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mekki Item saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zulkarnaen Mandaga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Botello Pinto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bandung Tigers eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
