Gong Peng Bo succeeded in the game's 10th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. After 22 minutes Zurlo Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Maxín Bacarreza who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Putra Parios heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Zurlo Team's Antonello Bosso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gong Peng Bo in the 27th minute of play. Antonello Bosso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robby Woody, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Antonello Bosso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gong Peng Bo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robby Woody in the 32nd minute of play forced Zurlo Team's goalkeeper Antonello Bosso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robby Woody's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Antonello Bosso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of La Academia booed when Zurlo Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Silvestre didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Zurlo Team's Fausto Silvestre got a free kick in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robby Woody stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Zurlo Team's zone, Lalo Salamanca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonello Bosso came out of the goal and Lalo Salamanca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Robby Woody sped through Zurlo Team's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Antonello Bosso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Attilio Mammarella in the 69th minute of play forced La Academia's goalkeeper Iwan Grocholski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Attilio Mammarella came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Zurlo Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Attilio Mammarella couldn't finish the play. In the 77th match minute, Zurlo Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Silvestre to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Mazuste in the 78th minute of play forced Zurlo Team's goalkeeper Antonello Bosso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robby Woody in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonello Bosso saved Zurlo Team from getting behind. The La Academia fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when La Academia's Robby Woody looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robby Woody in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antonello Bosso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Robby Woody struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Antonello Bosso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Academia. Antonello Bosso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robby Woody, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Academia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
