If Robby Woody had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20thth minute of the game Robby Woody who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yung Gunners FK's Maximilian Strömbom was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yngve Sandström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Francisco Alberto Zañartu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maximilian Strömbom, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lu Kang Yi was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Putra Parios ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximilian Strömbom was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 64 minutes, Lu Kang Yi made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. La Academia's Iwan Grocholski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 71 minutes into the match, Yung Gunners FK's goal looked a bit too open when Robby Woody came free, but Maximilian Strömbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximilian Strömbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Alberto Zañartu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximilian Strömbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robby Woody in the 81st minute of play. After 83 minutes Yung Gunners FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Maxín Bacarreza who took care of the corner kick. Robby Woody made a great header on La Academia's corner, it was just that Yung Gunners FK's Maximilian Strömbom managed to reach the ball for a save. Iwan Grocholski made an important save on a dangerous shot by CJ Traoré in the 93rd minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. La Academia fully deserved thier win.
