In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nacional de Rolândia's goalkeeper Victor Negri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Dionisio Chorche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Omar Abadia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bob Rock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidro Oliviero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Negri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Victor Negri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isidro Oliviero went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Omar Abadia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mats Nyman in the 26th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Saul Jaen sped through Barbudos FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Omar Abadia. Isidro Oliviero took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Negri. Victor Negri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Isidro Oliviero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Oliviero in the 36th minute of play forced Nacional de Rolândia's goalkeeper Victor Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Isidro Oliviero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Omar Abadia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júnior Vander in the 42nd minute of the match. If Isidro Oliviero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Oliviero in the 43rd minute of play forced Nacional de Rolândia's goalkeeper Victor Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidro Oliviero struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Victor Negri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barbudos FC.

The wind increased when Saul Jaen made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Nacional de Rolândia defense, Isidro Oliviero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victor Negri. The Nacional de Rolândia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Negri should have stopped the shot. 59 minutes into the match, Isidro Oliviero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victor Negri. Nacional de Rolândia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isidro Oliviero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Barbudos FC's Marciano Lope was substituted for Gareth Bala. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Jaen in the 64th minute of play forced Barbudos FC's goalkeeper Omar Abadia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Nacional de Rolândia booed when Barbudos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Ermano didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Isidro Oliviero came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Barbudos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidro Oliviero couldn't finish the play. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Nacional de Rolândia's goal looked a bit too open when Yin Qian Han came free, but Victor Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute Saul Jaen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Abadia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Federico Celipe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yin Qian Han, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Barbudos FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Nacional de Rolândia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
