After 14 played minutes The Irons Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Kon. Thomas Hägglund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damazy Posadzki, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damazy Posadzki in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Hägglund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kåre Bruhn who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Piotr Lech when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Edwin Sjöberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Piotr Lech was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Thomas Hägglund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Babicki in the 36th minute of the match. A well-hit corner resulted in Alfred Babicki heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The The Irons Chorzów fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when The Irons Chorzów's Pawel Kochanowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Damazy Posadzki came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the The Irons Chorzów fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damazy Posadzki couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kåre Bruhn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Irons Chorzów's Piotr Lech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin Sjöberg in the 52nd minute of play. 52 minutes into the match, Edwin Sjöberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Piotr Lech. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With a little luck, Onsala Ass Kickers's Thomas Hägglund got control of the ball when Patryk Snaza tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to The Irons Chorzów getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Patryk Snaza hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Pawel Kochanowski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Damazy Posadzki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thomas Hägglund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damazy Posadzki in the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damazy Posadzki in the 93rd minute of play forced Onsala Ass Kickers's goalkeeper Thomas Hägglund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Onsala Ass Kickers's Jan Björnberg got a free kick in the 94th minute. If Pawel Kochanowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
