After 7 played minutes ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β got a freekick which was hit by Panagiotis Tremis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sotiris Tevekelis in the 9th minute of play forced Alcantarilla FC's goalkeeper Koldo Murcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alekos Gaitanopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Ziguenza in the 20th minute of play. Alekos Gaitanopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Firmo Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Koldo Murcia made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Kyriakos Theodoridis sent off a good shot on target. If Sotiris Tevekelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kyriakos Theodoridiss short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Koldo Murcia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β's Panagiotis Tremis got a free kick in the 35th minute. Alekos Gaitanopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Ziguenza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Kosmas Bolos came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kosmas Bolos couldn't finish the play. After 45 played minutes Alcantarilla FC got a freekick which was hit by Toli Landa. After having played for 46 minutes, Ntinos Giasemis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ntinos Giasemis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramiro Ziguenza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd minute, Firmo Romero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alcantarilla FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Stathis Leontiou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Koldo Murcia having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Kyriakos Theodoridis made a precise shot to the right of Koldo Murcia. Alcantarilla FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 77 minutes into the match, Alcantarilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kosmas Bolos came free, but Koldo Murcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Alcantarilla FC booed when ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kyriakos Theodoridis didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mazuste Fuentes in the 86th minute of play forced ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β's goalkeeper Alekos Gaitanopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis-Javier Pena's late challenge caught a ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis-Javier Pena helped the player get up and apologised. 94 minutes into the game, ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β's Stelios Daniilopoulos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Koldo Murcia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Alcantarilla FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
