Kyriakos Theodoridis scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Koldo Murcia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 13thth minute of the game Sotiris Tevekelis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alcantarilla FC's Koldo Murcia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 15th minute, Sotiris Tevekelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the game, Ramiro Ziguenza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alekos Gaitanopoulos. Ramiro Ziguenza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Koldo Murcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyriakos Theodoridis in the 19th minute of the match. The ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β's Sotiris Tevekelis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 39th minute, Ramiro Ziguenza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alekos Gaitanopoulos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Sotiris Tevekelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kyriakos Theodoridis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Koldo Murcia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th minute Kyriakos Theodoridis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Koldo Murcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Sotiris Tevekelis made the kick off in the second half. Koldo Murcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kosmas Bolos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the match, Alcantarilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sotiris Tevekelis came free, but Koldo Murcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β's zone, Ramiro Ziguenza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The referee ignored Alcantarilla FC's protests and gave Luis-Javier Pena a yellow card for diving instead. Luis-Javier Pena hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the game, Mazuste Fuentes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alcantarilla FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β the free kick. After 77 minutes, Kyriakos Theodoridis made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. Alcantarilla FC's Koldo Murcia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kyriakos Theodoridis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Koldo Murcia having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Stathis Leontiou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. After having played for 86 minutes, Kyriakos Theodoridis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kyriakos Theodoridis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β's Alekos Gaitanopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Ziguenza in the 96th minute of play. The ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
