In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eleven Nation Army's goalkeeper Qian Xing Wei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alfonso Gilabert came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Qian Xing Wei could save by the left post. 26 minutes into the match, Eleven Nation Army's goalkeeper Qian Xing Wei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfonso Gilabert. If Alfonso Gilabert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Qian Xing Wei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfonso Gilabert in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute, Otto Budjana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfonso Gilabert's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Qian Xing Wei skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Bernard Ochabski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uriel Chorche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helge Brun in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Bernard Ochabski scored 2-0 in the 50th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Qian Xing Wei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Qian Xing Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Gilabert in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Alexander Vedholm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eleven Nation Army's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores del Ángel Gris the free kick. Alexander Vedholm hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute Alfonso Gilabert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qian Xing Wei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Helge Brun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Uriel Chorche was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Alfonso Gilabert struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Qian Xing Wei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores del Ángel Gris. Qian Xing Wei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Gilabert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, Defensores del Ángel Gris's goalkeeper Uriel Chorche had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Senthil Suşu. After some careless play in the Eleven Nation Army defense, Alfonso Gilabert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Qian Xing Wei. The Eleven Nation Army fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Qian Xing Wei should have stopped the shot. In the 80th minute Senthil Suşu collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopoldo Aimar during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Defensores del Ángel Gris getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Leopoldo Aimar hit a great ball. Uriel Chorche made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tim Tingelholm in the 85th minute. Tim Tingelholm scored 3-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Uriel Chorche, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 93 minutes, Alfonso Gilabert made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. Eleven Nation Army's Qian Xing Wei tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
