When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Marcus Brady took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Benjamin Price to make any attempt to save it. 16 minutes into the match, Candido Iaki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benjamin Price. Characate FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Candido Iaki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Marcus Brady recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamin Price took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Iaki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th match minute, Characate FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Ur to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, Characate FC's goalkeeper Benjamin Price had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Candido Iaki. With 40 minutes on the clock, David Lidman commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 39th minute, one of Characate FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Characate FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Quirce in the 42nd minute of play forced Characate FC's goalkeeper Benjamin Price to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marian Cazacu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Gaxan in the 44th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nestor Gaxan made a kick off. After 56 minutes, Leon Napierkowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. Marcus Brady took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benjamin Price. Benjamin Price dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Evelio Erasto hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Nestor Gaxan could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Marian Cazacu however easily saved by the left post. Marcus Brady received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Benjamin Price tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Characate FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saba Gentiletti came free, but Benjamin Price reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 72 minutes, Gerardo Santikurtz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Characate FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerardo Santikurtz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerardo Santikurtz got free with Marian Cazacu in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Characate FC's Leopoldo Afonso got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute, Candido Iaki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patagonicos FC's Naldo Cerezo was substituted for Leonel Sendoa. The supporters of Characate FC booed when Patagonicos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Iaki didn't get a good kick on the ball. After taking down the ball on Characate FC's corner Leopoldo Afonso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marian Cazacu quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Patagonicos FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Ramon Quirce hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Afonso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Characate FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Patagonicos FC the free kick. Leopoldo Afonso hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Many of Characate FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Characate FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Patagonicos FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
