Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Orvar Larsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cornelio Cordearo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arlo Arruta in the 13th minute of the match. Cornelio Cordearo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arlo Arruta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Racing Club defense, Arlo Arruta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cornelio Cordearo. The Racing Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cornelio Cordearo should have stopped the shot. 30 minutes into the match, Esquirla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Pirro came free, but Orvar Larsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esquirla FC were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Racing Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bernard Swartenbroekx took the corner. Esquirla FC's Benjamin Specht was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cornelio Cordearo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 32 minutes, Benjamin Specht made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Racing Club's Cornelio Cordearo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cornelio Cordearo came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Esquirla FC's Arlo Arruta. But to his dismay, Arlo Arruta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The supporters of Esquirla FC booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Piorno didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Arlo Arruta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esquirla FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arlo Arruta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornelio Cordearo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Racing Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Esquirla FC were winning 0-3.

Racing Club made a substitution. Ramiro Lano replaced Efmamjjasond Bronco. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arlo Arruta to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Ricki Martín managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esquirla FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricki Martín was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornelio Cordearo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Homer Field got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Racing Club's Epifanio Txomin was substituted for Luciano Pirro. 67 minutes into the match, Esquirla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Lano came free, but Orvar Larsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orvar Larsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Lano in the 72nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Arlo Arruta took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Cornelio Cordearo to make any attempt to save it. 77 minutes into the game, Epifanio Txomin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Orvar Larsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cornelio Cordearo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Van Aerschot, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Orvar Larsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Txomin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arlo Arruta in the 91st minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Cornelio Cordearo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domingo Austin kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Domingo Austin hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Epifanio Txomin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4.
