Knox BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrik Åman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Ros in the 12th minute of play forced Nadzieja Speed Elblag's goalkeeper Boguslaw Maurycy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Cezary Prusinowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nadzieja Speed Elblag's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Knox BK the free kick. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nadzieja Speed Elblag! Nadzieja Speed Elblag:s Boguslaw Maurycy showed great skill when he stopped Alvar Vestlund:s penalty. With a little luck, Knox BK's Robert Sörman got control of the ball when Chavdar Hesapchiev tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 41 minutes, Henrik Åman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Knox BK and the Nadzieja Speed Elblag players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Knox BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Åman to maneuver through the defense. Knox BK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Beniamin Lichorobiec scored to the left of an out of position Robert Sörman, making the score, 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Beniamin Lichorobiec stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Knox BK getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Karl-Michael Landin hit a great ball. In the 65th minute of the match, Leonard Ros got a very nice opportunity to score, but Boguslaw Maurycy was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Leonard Ros's late challenge caught a Nadzieja Speed Elblag's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonard Ros helped the player get up and apologised. After 69 played minutes Knox BK got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Ros. After some careless play in the Knox BK defense, Beniamin Lichorobiec kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robert Sörman. The Knox BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robert Sörman should have stopped the shot. 76 minutes into the match, Nadzieja Speed Elblag's goal looked a bit too open when Alvar Vestlund came free, but Boguslaw Maurycy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Knox BK's goal looked a bit too open when Beniamin Lichorobiec came free, but Robert Sörman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chiel Middeljans during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonard Ros couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute Alvar Vestlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boguslaw Maurycy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
