After 3 minutes of play, Racing Club's Luciano Pirro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robert Sörman was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Luciano Pirro put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Robert Sörman. In the 11th minute Luciano Pirro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Sörman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Sörman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Pirro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 19th minute of the game was made by Peter Wennerlund with Alvar Vestlund as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 25 minutes into the match, Knox BK's goal looked a bit too open when Efmamjjasond Bronco came free, but Robert Sörman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Luciano Pirro put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Robert Sörman. After a rather tough play, Knox BK's Stefan Westerstrand got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 34th minute, Luciano Pirro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robert Sörman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Luciano Pirro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Pirro in the 37th minute of play forced Knox BK's goalkeeper Robert Sörman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Lucas Eladio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 42 played minutes Knox BK got a freekick which was hit by Claes Matsson. 43 minutes into the match, Racing Club's Samuel Nevada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robert Sörman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half Racing Club were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 51st play minutes Luciano Pirro shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Robert Sörman and just under the crossbar into goal. 57 minutes into the game, Luciano Pirro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Robert Sörman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 60 minutes, Luciano Pirro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano Pirro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Txomin in the 63rd minute of play forced Knox BK's goalkeeper Robert Sörman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramiro Lano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Robert Sörman made a huge save. After some careless play in the Knox BK defense, Epifanio Txomin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robert Sörman. The Knox BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robert Sörman should have stopped the shot. Domingo Austin scored 0-9 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robert Sörman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Homer Field in the 76th minute of play forced Knox BK's goalkeeper Robert Sörman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domingo Austin kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Ramiro Lano scored 0-11 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robert Sörman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Epifanio Txomin took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robert Sörman. Robert Sörman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. Robert Sörman didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 91st minute, which inside left pole to 0-13. Epifanio Txomin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Robert Sörman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Racing Club played a much better game than Knox BK and deserved their victory. The Knox BK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
