Aek athens's Sakis Kaladosis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Berenguer in the 8th minute of play. Aigeus Milionis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simeon Akrivopoulos in the 13th minute of the match. Sakis Kaladosis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Berenguer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aigeus Milionis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simeon Akrivopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Ilmo Jussilainen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aigeus Milionis having to make a save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hahay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Aek athens.
