Memphis Grizzlies's Albert Henry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Cantemir in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Memphis Grizzlies's Rob Gillespie got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute, Ricardo Erosa made a precise shot to the right of Albert Henry. Memphis Grizzlies's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Cornel Bodiu fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alex Team's protests and gave Cornel Bodiu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute, Cornel Bodiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albert Henry came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Alex Team's Cornel Bodiu. But to his dismay, Cornel Bodiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Francisco Moura in the 16th minute of play forced Memphis Grizzlies's goalkeeper Albert Henry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Spike Bond struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Ion Chificeac didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Memphis Grizzlies. After 20 minutes of play, Alex Team's 김 즙 made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albert Henry was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Matthijs De Ligt fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Memphis Grizzlies's protests and gave Matthijs De Ligt a yellow card for diving instead. Matthijs De Ligt hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Memphis Grizzlies's Albert Henry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornel Bodiu in the 26th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Alex Team got a freekick which was hit by João Francisco Moura. After 32 played minutes Memphis Grizzlies got a freekick which was hit by Ciarán Symons. Memphis Grizzlies's Albert Henry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornel Bodiu in the 32nd minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Cornel Bodiu notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Memphis Grizzlies's Albert Henry. Albert Henry was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Freddie Gettins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Ion Chificeac made a huge save. After the first half Alex Team were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 김 즙 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Alex Team fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Alex Team's 김 즙 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Ricardo Erosa came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Alex Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Erosa couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute, 김 즙 reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Albert Henry. The goal made the score 0-6. In the 62nd minute, Marin Cantemir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marin Cantemir kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, João Francisco Moura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albert Henry. Memphis Grizzlies's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Francisco Moura was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. In the 81st match minute, Memphis Grizzlies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brian Kay to maneuver through the defense. Albert Henry didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 92nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-8. Rob Gillespie hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Cornel Bodiu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 95th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the final whistle went the supporters of Alex Team were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Memphis Grizzlies side.
