The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sletteenge's Petter Eirod played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huw Howard in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Donald Liktensteen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emrys Fry was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 15 minutes of play, Chester City AFC's Boleslaw Mudry made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Petter Eirod was left in no man's land by his defense there! 19 minutes into the game, one of Chester City AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Wagn Nytoft recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Sletteenge booed when Chester City AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Vítor Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Wagn Nytoft got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Donald Liktensteen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emrys Fry was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Petter Eirod made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Peissawg Francis sent off a good shot on target. Emrys Fry made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donald Liktensteen in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wagn Nytoft in the 36th minute of play forced Chester City AFC's goalkeeper Emrys Fry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rhuvawn Corr hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Wagn Nytoft managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sletteenge's supporters rose to their feet, but Wagn Nytoft was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emrys Fry breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Sletteenge getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Torsten Akselvad hit a great ball. The long shot by José Vítor Godoi in the 42nd minute really tested Petter Eirod's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, Chester City AFC's Berwyn Dunkin got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Chester City AFC's zone, Ted Weye stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emrys Fry came out of the goal and Ted Weye tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Waljan Cartledge hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Boleslaw Mudry was the one to do the kick off. Emrys Fry showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torsten Akselvad in the 54th minute of the match. Rhuvawn Corr charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rhuvawn Corr the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emrys Fry made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Donald Liktensteen sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the match, Chester City AFC's goalkeeper Emrys Fry had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donald Liktensteen. In the 74th minute, Sletteenge's Donald Liktensteen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emrys Fry. Emrys Fry yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. After 80 played minutes Chester City AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rhuvawn Corr. Sletteenge's Fritz Grauholt was substituted for Donald Liktensteen. In the 81st minute, Rhuvawn Corr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Chester City AFC's goalkeeper Emrys Fry had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fritz Grauholt. Emrys Fry showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wagn Nytoft in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 86th minute of the match Sletteenge got a corner. Chester City AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ted Weye ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 91stth minute of the game Wagn Nytoft who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chester City AFC's Emrys Fry was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 92 minutes of play, Sletteenge's Wagn Nytoft made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emrys Fry was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Chester City AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sletteenge's performance. The match ended with a win for Sletteenge.
