In the 9th match minute, UFC Puturoasa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Ureche to maneuver through the defense. Valentin Bernal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeusz Pracki, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 20 played minutes UFC Puturoasa got a freekick which was hit by Alphonso Davies. In the 20th minute of the match Soin Buisan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Alberto Salgado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 23 minutes into the match, UFC Puturoasa's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Morningstar came free, but Carlos Alberto Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentin Bernal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugen Doroftei in the 24th minute. The supporters of Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ booed when UFC Puturoasa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodor Cociu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Soin Buisan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Alberto Salgado. UFC Puturoasa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Soin Buisan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carlos Alberto Salgado quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 30th minute Igor Milko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Alberto Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentin Bernal was a little too slow when Eugen Doroftei got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 34th minute Eugen Doroftei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Bernal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alphonso Davies kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Igor Milko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Carlos Alberto Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, UFC Puturoasa's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Milko came free, but Carlos Alberto Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. UFC Puturoasa's Carlos Alberto Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Milko in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute of the match Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ got a corner. UFC Puturoasa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The corner led Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Igor Milko to fire away a dangerous shot which Carlos Alberto Salgado despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emil Scobioalã to make the kick off. Igor Milko might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Alberto Salgado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Igor Milko ran back to his position shaking his head. 56 minutes into the match, UFC Puturoasa's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Milko came free, but Carlos Alberto Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
