The audience thought a goal was coming when Octav Stoicescu got free with George Sandell in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 12 minutes into the match, GoalHunters's goal looked a bit too open when Gert Örtendahl came free, but Daniel Jienescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by GoalHunters's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jean-Baptiste Xavier Lloret was slow to take the kick. During this time Telge77's players had a chance to rest. Daniel Jienescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gert Örtendahl in the 20th minute of the match. Vintilă Vâtcu lost his temper 22 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for GoalHunters! GoalHunters:s Daniel Jienescu showed great skill when he stopped Jean-Baptiste Xavier Lloret:s penalty. Daniel Jienescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Baptiste Xavier Lloret, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Telge77's George Sandell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Jerrold in the 26th minute of play. GoalHunters's Octav Stoicescu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but George Sandell in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Telge77 made a substitution. Patrick Martinsson replaced Adam Jelm. In the 43rd minute, Panait Bujor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gert Örtendahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jean-Baptiste Xavier Lloret stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Pedro Jerrold was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GoalHunters's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Telge77 the free kick. Telge77 made a substitution. Jonas Tunander replaced Aleksander Gabrielsson. In the 55th minute, Pedro Jerrold hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Billy Rydberg in the 56th minute really tested Daniel Jienescu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With a little luck, GoalHunters's Daniel Jienescu got control of the ball when Jarl Sjöö tried to sneak it across the goal line. George Sandell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Octav Stoicescu's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. When João Gaúcho came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the GoalHunters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Gaúcho couldn't finish the play. Telge77's George Sandell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Jerrold in the 71st minute of play. Telge77 made a substitution. Herman Lagerberg replaced Jarl Sjöö. In the 73rd minute GoalHunters were awarded a corner. Octav Stoicescu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to GoalHunters's Eugen Croitoru getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. A collision led to GoalHunters getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Eugen Croitoru hit a great ball. GoalHunters's Pedro Jerrold got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. GoalHunters were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Telge77's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Octav Stoicescu took the corner. With an all-out effort, Telge77's Daniel Jienescu threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jean-Baptiste Xavier Lloret, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. George Sandell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Jerrold in the 82nd minute of play. GoalHunters were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Telge77's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Octav Stoicescu took the corner. Pedro Jerrold's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but George Sandell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Daniel Jienescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean-Baptiste Xavier Lloret in the 87th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jean-Baptiste Xavier Lloret in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Jienescu saved GoalHunters from getting behind. Jean-Baptiste Xavier Lloret in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Daniel Jienescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 90 minutes into the match, Telge77's goal looked a bit too open when Panait Bujor came free, but George Sandell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, GoalHunters could leave the field as winners, despite Telge77 having more of the ball for most of the match.
