In the 4th match minute, KFC Cromvelde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Cirulli to maneuver through the defense. Seagulls's Aurelio Rexino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé 武松 in the 6th minute of play. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Seagulls's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Matthias Wauters was slow to take the kick. During this time KFC Cromvelde's players had a chance to rest. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Dé 武松 put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Aurelio Rexino. A collision led to Seagulls getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Best Štriker hit a great ball. Aurelio Rexino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mathijs Rokeloos went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 18th minute, Dariusz Rekawiczka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mathijs Rokeloos got free with Aurelio Rexino in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mathijs Rokeloos in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Rexino saved Seagulls from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Seagulls's Roderick van Boxel got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Matthias Wauters's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelio Rexino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Jean-Louis Van Bever made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Best Štriker in the 31st minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's goal looked a bit too open when Best Štriker came free, but Jean-Louis Van Bever reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Best Štriker in the 34th minute of play forced KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Jean-Louis Van Bever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurelio Rexino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dé 武松, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dé 武松 in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Rexino saved Seagulls from getting behind. KFC Cromvelde's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Matthias Wauters in the 40th minute. Mathijs Rokeloos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Aurelio Rexino made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roderick van Boxel to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, KFC Cromvelde's Mathijs Rokeloos made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelio Rexino was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Mathijs Rokeloos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Seagulls getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Marco Mook hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Dé 武松 came free, but Aurelio Rexino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathijs Rokeloos in the 61st minute of play forced Seagulls's goalkeeper Aurelio Rexino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Karl-Heinz Kaltz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Rexino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelio Rexino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Heinz Kaltz in the 65th minute of play. Aurelio Rexino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathijs Rokeloos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelio Rexino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dé 武松, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Aurelio Rexino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathijs Rokeloos in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Mathijs Rokeloos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KFC Cromvelde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 78 minutes into the game, KFC Cromvelde's Mathijs Rokeloos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelio Rexino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 83rd minute of the match KFC Cromvelde got a corner. Seagulls's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Matthias Wauters ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Matthias Wauters got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aurelio Rexino quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 88th minute, Dé 武松 made a precise shot to the right of Aurelio Rexino. Seagulls's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0.
