Aurelio Rexino came out and tried to block the shot, but Eriberto Pedriza slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 7th minute. Seagulls's Aurelio Rexino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Seagulls from getting a goal against them. With his leg Aurelio Rexino managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Hispania's Filip Kubala fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 21st minute, Dariusz Rekawiczka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goalkeeper Aurelio Rexino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lei Qian Peng. Aurelio Rexino made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Filip Kubala sent off a good shot on target. When Marco Mook fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seagulls's protests and gave Marco Mook a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st match minute, Seagulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Mook to maneuver through the defense. Lei Qian Peng was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 32nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Osman Čiček could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Aurelio Rexino made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osman Čiček in the 36th minute of play forced Seagulls's goalkeeper Aurelio Rexino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurelio Rexino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filip Kubala in the 37th minute. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Seagulls's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lei Qian Peng was slow to take the kick. During this time Hispania's players had a chance to rest. Aurelio Rexino made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Lei Qian Peng sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Hispania's Osman Čiček slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aurelio Rexino. That made the score 4-0 after 43 minutes of play. In the 47th minute Osman Čiček shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Rexino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

52 minutes into the match, Hispania's goalkeeper Arif Memduh Akova had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roderick van Boxel. 54 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Osman Čiček came free, but Aurelio Rexino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hispania were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Seagulls's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lei Qian Peng took the corner. The corner ended in Edorta Portillo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Seagulls's Aurelio Rexino did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Pedriza in the 58th minute of play forced Seagulls's goalkeeper Aurelio Rexino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Eriberto Pedriza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Rexino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filip Kubala in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Rexino saved Seagulls from getting behind. Aurelio Rexino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Kubala, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 69th minute Osman Čiček shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Rexino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ben Rensenbrink kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Seagulls's Ben Rensenbrink got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute Filip Kubala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Rexino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Hispania's Filip Kubala nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelio Rexino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Aurelio Rexino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Kubala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Hispania booed when Seagulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dariusz Rekawiczka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Seagulls's Aurelio Rexino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Chifu in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Eriberto Pedriza notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Seagulls's Aurelio Rexino. Aurelio Rexino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lei Qian Peng took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelio Rexino. Aurelio Rexino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. After 93 minutes of play, Hispania's David Chifu made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelio Rexino was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hispania had played much better football throughout.
