With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marciano Xacintu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Cervezanegra A.C.'s Ciriaco Ereinotz got a free kick in the 15th minute. Paulopolis's Cayetano Rito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Luken in the 18th minute of play. Dieguinho Amaral might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marciano Xacintu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The Cervezanegra A.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Paulopolis were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Octavio Luken to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Cervezanegra A.C.'s Arnaldo Harri got a free kick in the 51st minute. A collision led to Paulopolis getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Dieguinho Amaral hit a great ball. The supporters of Cervezanegra A.C. booed when Paulopolis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dieguinho Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dieguinho Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 61 minutes in the game, Henrique Veloso fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Marciano Xacintu having to interfere. Dieguinho Amaral might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marciano Xacintu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dieguinho Amaral ran back to his position shaking his head. Marciano Xacintu stood somewhat misplaced when Dieguinho Amaral came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 67 minute.
