The referee ignored B O B I S A's protests and gave Benjamin Fässler a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th match minute, B O B I S A was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Fässler to maneuver through the defense. Gremio NG's Fábio Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Cibran in the 21st minute of play. Emilian Randolph took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Travassos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Figueiredo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Reynaldo Cibran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. B O B I S A's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Cibran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Timoteo Bühler made a great header on B O B I S A's corner, it was just that Gremio NG's Fábio Pinheiro managed to reach the ball for a save. Gremio NG's Fábio Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Fuchs in the 34th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Júnior Quintana made a kick off. Fábio Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Cibran in the 52nd minute of play. The Gremio NG fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Gremio NG's Raimundo Travassos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. In the 71st minute, Reynaldo Cibran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The B O B I S A fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Reynaldo Cibran was extremely unlucky when he, in the 76th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sandrinho Gaspar during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th match minute, Gremio NG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandrinho Gaspar to maneuver through the defense. Fábio Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Cibran in the 79th minute of play.
