Torjus Solvoll showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hampus Rebec in the 6th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Café DE PLOEG's goal looked a bit too open when Keld Popp came free, but Carel Van de Schrieck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute Keld Popp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carel Van de Schrieck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Gettrup SIK's corner Loui Dyndgaard fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Carel Van de Schrieck quite easily take care of the ball. Gettrup SIK's Torjus Solvoll proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Gettrup SIK from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the match, Gettrup SIK's goalkeeper Torjus Solvoll had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ludwig Kloots. After some careless play in the Gettrup SIK defense, Ludwig Kloots kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Torjus Solvoll. The Gettrup SIK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torjus Solvoll should have stopped the shot. When Ludwig Kloots came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Café DE PLOEG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ludwig Kloots couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Café DE PLOEG's Luisinho Vidal got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute Loui Dyndgaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carel Van de Schrieck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zenon Gall in the 42nd minute of play forced Café DE PLOEG's goalkeeper Carel Van de Schrieck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Café DE PLOEG's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Loui Dyndgaard was slow to take the kick. During this time Gettrup SIK's players had a chance to rest. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Hampus Rebec's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torjus Solvoll read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. With a little luck, Café DE PLOEG's Carel Van de Schrieck got control of the ball when Zenon Gall tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Café DE PLOEG booed when Gettrup SIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastean Staniok didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Café DE PLOEG's goalkeeper Carel Van de Schrieck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Keld Popp in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carel Van de Schrieck saved Café DE PLOEG from getting behind.
