The score was 1-0 after a penalty in the 6th minute, where Bezerros EC:s Kléber Paiva tricked TRAKINAS FC:s Remo de Toledo with a difficult ball by the left post. Remo de Toledo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clóvis Camargo's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. The TRAKINAS FC fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when TRAKINAS FC's Léo Trancoso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 16 minutes, Oswaldo Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TRAKINAS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oswaldo Matos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Bezerros EC's goal looked a bit too open when Léo Trancoso came free, but Luiz Fernando Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, TRAKINAS FC's goalkeeper Remo de Toledo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agnaldo Linares. Luiz Fernando Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Oliveira in the 22nd minute of the match. Remo de Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agnaldo Linares, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 35 minutes into the match, TRAKINAS FC's goalkeeper Remo de Toledo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudinho do Vale. Maurício Miranda hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. TRAKINAS FC's Remo de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Ceresso in the 39th minute of play. Remo de Toledo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donato Ceresso in the 40th minute. Donato Ceresso's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Remo de Toledo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. TRAKINAS FC were furious when Válter Terra was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for TRAKINAS FC! An unexpectedly hard shot by Agnaldo Linares in the 47th minute of play forced TRAKINAS FC's goalkeeper Remo de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Maurício Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Bezerros EC's Luiz Fernando Peixoto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Bezerros EC from getting a goal against them. Léo Trancoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Luiz Fernando Peixoto made a huge save. In the 70th minute TRAKINAS FC were awarded a corner. Régis Guimarães went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Danilo Mello almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bezerros EC's Luiz Fernando Peixoto did a great save. Remo de Toledo came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Bezerros EC's Clóvis Camargo. But to his dismay, Clóvis Camargo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The throw-in from Alberto Guedes in the 78th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by TRAKINAS FC's Régis Guimarães. Remo de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho do Vale in the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agnaldo Linares in the 81st minute of play forced TRAKINAS FC's goalkeeper Remo de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudinho do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remo de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agnaldo Linares in the 88th minute of play.
