The supporters of Castagneto Po AFC booed when Atlético Paz Sanford was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konrad Loncki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filippo Pinti made a great header on Castagneto Po AFC's corner, it was just that Atlético Paz Sanford's Abelardo Nayely managed to reach the ball for a save. After 36 minutes, Filippo Pinti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Castagneto Po AFC and the Atlético Paz Sanford players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abelardo Nayely was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Castagneto Po AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Filippo Pinti made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Emilio Sciarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Nayely saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Casado in the 54th minute of play forced Castagneto Po AFC's goalkeeper Dennis Cimino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Guido Casado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético Paz Sanford's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Castagneto Po AFC the free kick. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Abelardo Nayely successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Abelardo Nayely took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filippo Pinti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Castagneto Po AFC's Federico Ciccone was substituted for Andrea Pinti. 68 minutes into the match, Castagneto Po AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jerome Harrison came free, but Dennis Cimino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Emilio Sciarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Castagneto Po AFC made a substitution. With an all-out effort, Castagneto Po AFC's Abelardo Nayely threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Filippo Pinti, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The Atlético Paz Sanford fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Castagneto Po AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
