Lost in pace's Alexander Vegsund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavol Rybnický in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute of the match UFC Pivnica got a corner. Lost in pace's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Viktor Kasarda ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 21st minute of the match, Ľubomír Smatana got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alexander Vegsund was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Viktor Kasarda took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alexander Vegsund. Lost in pace's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Jo Grande had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ladislav Lomnický. UFC Pivnica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jo Grande was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Yngve Einvik charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yngve Einvik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Lost in pace getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Stanislav Záruba really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. 41 minutes into the match Ľubomír Smatana climbed in front of goal and pressed up 2-2 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Alexander Vegsund. Lost in pace's Alexander Vegsund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Lost in pace from getting a goal against them. Ľubomír Smatana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Lost in pace's Alexander Vegsund got control of the ball when Ľubomír Smatana tried to sneak it across the goal line. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stig Grønstad to strike the kick off in the second half. When Øyvind Åsland fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lost in pace's protests and gave Øyvind Åsland a yellow card for diving instead. After 74th play minutes Pavol Rybnický shot 5-2, a short shot which went by Alexander Vegsund and just under the crossbar into goal. Alexander Vegsund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislav Záruba in the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of Lost in pace booed when UFC Pivnica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viktor Kasarda didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Stanislav Záruba came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the UFC Pivnica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stanislav Záruba couldn't finish the play. Pavol Rybnický sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. UFC Pivnica's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
