Stein Spoelberch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cai Wei Xi in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Cai Wei Xi notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Club Brugge's Stein Spoelberch. Stein Spoelberch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 20th minute, Hector Bellerin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stein Spoelberch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cai Wei Xi's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. After 22 minutes Club Brugge's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Timoteo Fiz who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Timoteo Fiz to fire away a dangerous shot which Stein Spoelberch despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 24 minutes in the game Hector Bellerin did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Menelaos Markos. If Cai Wei Xi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Cai Wei Xi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stein Spoelberch was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Club Brugge defense, Cai Wei Xi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stein Spoelberch. The Club Brugge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stein Spoelberch should have stopped the shot. If Joel Enekoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cai Wei Xi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stein Spoelberch having to make a save. Stein Spoelberch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cai Wei Xi in the 36th minute of the match. Cai Wei Xi might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stein Spoelberch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cai Wei Xi ran back to his position shaking his head. Club Brugge's Stein Spoelberch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cai Wei Xi in the 38th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Club Brugge's zone, Cai Wei Xi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stein Spoelberch came out of the goal and Cai Wei Xi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The throw-in from Hector Bellerin in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Joel Enekoitz. The Club Brugge players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cai Wei Xi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nicasio Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 孔磊傲 in the 53rd minute of the match. Cai Wei Xi might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stein Spoelberch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cai Wei Xi ran back to his position shaking his head. Cai Wei Xi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stein Spoelberch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Cai Wei Xi took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Stein Spoelberch to make any attempt to save it. Stein Spoelberch came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Lei Jian Xiong. But to his dismay, Lei Jian Xiong quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Stein Spoelberch made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Wu Hao Xu sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Wu Hao Xu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stein Spoelberch was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Stein Spoelberch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wu Hao Xu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stein Spoelberch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wu Hao Xu in the 79th minute. In the 82ndth minute of the game Wu Hao Xu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Brugge's Stein Spoelberch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wu Hao Xu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Stein Spoelberch skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Club Brugge's King Eken got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Club Brugge made a substitution. Jan-Simon Elsen replaced 孔磊傲. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Wu Hao Xu sped through Club Brugge's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stein Spoelberch. The Club Brugge supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s performance. The match ended with a win for Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥.
