Holer Nolan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven-Ove Stål went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Holer Nolan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Ove Stål, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. If Sven-Ove Stål had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Sven-Ove Stål's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Holer Nolan was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Garsås IF's zone, Karl-Åke Söderquist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfons Sjö came out of the goal and Karl-Åke Söderquist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Holer Nolan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven-Ove Stål went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute of the match, Rikard Klint tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alfons Sjö saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 29th match minute, Hawk Tuah FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Triantafyllos í Lon Jacobsen to maneuver through the defense. Frans Wennerquist hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 1-2 became the score in the 35th minute when Karl-Åke Söderquist elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rikard Klint in the 40th minute of play forced Garsås IF's goalkeeper Alfons Sjö to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Garsås IF were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

51 minutes into the match, Hawk Tuah FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Ove Stål came free, but Holer Nolan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 53 minutes into the game, Göran Lindholm threw the ball into play from the sideline. Hawk Tuah FC's Triantafyllos í Lon Jacobsen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Bror Ståhlman came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Garsås IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bror Ståhlman couldn't finish the play. Holer Nolan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Ove Stål, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Hawk Tuah FC made a substitution. Froilan Reno replaced Sakarias Linberg. Garsås IF's attentive Maicon Pereira managed to snatch the ball when Triantafyllos í Lon Jacobsen made a throw-in in the 70th minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Göran Lindholm in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Hawk Tuah FC's Sonic Supereko. Garsås IF's Alfons Sjö played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sonic Supereko in the 75th minute of play. Garsås IF's attentive Göran Lindholm managed to snatch the ball when Frans Wennerquist made a throw-in in the 79th minute of the game. In the 81st minute, Sven-Ove Stål left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garsås IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Sven-Ove Stål might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Holer Nolan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Ove Stål ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Ove Stål in the 85th minute of play forced Hawk Tuah FC's goalkeeper Holer Nolan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Ove Stål's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Holer Nolan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Garsås IF's Sven-Ove Stål slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Holer Nolan. That made the score 1-4 after 88 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sonic Supereko in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfons Sjö saved Garsås IF from getting behind. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Garsås IF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
