Videl Mauriz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Ove Stål's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. After 14 minutes ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Archie Brodie who took care of the corner kick. Sven-Ove Stål's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Videl Mauriz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Videl Mauriz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven-Ove Stål went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Ove Stål in the 21st minute of play forced ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s goalkeeper Videl Mauriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 26th minute of the game was made by Mario Alberto Yepes with Pero Falla as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 28th minute Sven-Ove Stål shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Videl Mauriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Videl Mauriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Ove Stål, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Garsås IF's Alfons Sjö proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Garsås IF from getting a goal against them. Sven-Ove Stål took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Videl Mauriz. Videl Mauriz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sven-Ove Stål was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s goalkeeper Videl Mauriz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Ove Stål. Alfons Sjö made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pero Falla in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Ove Stål in the 73rd minute of play forced ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s goalkeeper Videl Mauriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pero Falla hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ made a substitution. Noel Guerrero replaced Gaspar Alborza. A collision led to ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Pero Falla hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Pero Falla managed to get in a good position for a shot. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s supporters rose to their feet, but Pero Falla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfons Sjö breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Garsås IF's Videl Mauriz threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sven-Ove Stål, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Garsås IF's Archie Brodie was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Videl Mauriz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Mario Alberto Yepes got a free kick in the 89th minute. After a rather tough play, Garsås IF's Maicon Pereira got a free kick in the 90th minute. 94 minutes into the match, Garsås IF's goal looked a bit too open when Pero Falla came free, but Alfons Sjö reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Garsås IF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Garsås IF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
