Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Long Haberle kicked off to start the match. ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's 严志川 was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 5th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 8th minute, 严志川 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martin Cordarrell received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kirby Houldsworth came out and tried to block the shot, but Martin Cordarrell slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 10th minute. In the 19th minute, 严志川 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 23 minutes into the match, Adelaide's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Cordarrell came free, but Kirby Houldsworth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Adelaide getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Jarrod Carlisle hit a great ball. Kirby Houldsworth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Cordarrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 严志川's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Kirby Houldsworth skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Adelaide's goalkeeper Kirby Houldsworth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kirby Houldsworth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 严志川 went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Gunter Waller took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Kirby Houldsworth to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, 严志川 managed to get in a good position for a shot. ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's supporters rose to their feet, but 严志川 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kirby Houldsworth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Martin Cordarrell might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kirby Houldsworth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Cordarrell ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Adelaide's Joseph Bowman got a free kick in the 41st minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 严志川 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 严志川 in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kirby Houldsworth saved Adelaide from getting behind. After 54 minutes, 严志川 made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Adelaide's Kirby Houldsworth tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kirby Houldsworth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Cordarrell in the 58th minute of play. In the 59thth minute of the game 严志川 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Adelaide's Kirby Houldsworth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 严志川 took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kirby Houldsworth. Kirby Houldsworth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. A collision led to ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Martin Cordarrell hit a great ball. 严志川 struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Kirby Houldsworth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK. Göktürk Tuncal kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Martin Cordarrell sped through Adelaide's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kirby Houldsworth. The ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's Martin Cordarrell looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Martin Cordarrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kirby Houldsworth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Cordarrell in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Hasan Kabakchi notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of Adelaide's Kirby Houldsworth. Kirby Houldsworth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hasan Kabakchi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kirby Houldsworth having to interfere. ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's Hasan Kabakchi managed to work through Adelaide's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Hasan Kabakchi dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When the referee ended the match the ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
