Spectators: 191 (Terracing: 144, Seating: 44, VIP seats: 3) Benny Chamberlain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cveto Novinec read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute of the game David Mantu made a throw-in which Chatziantoniou Xanthos played forward. Benny Chamberlain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Cveto Novinec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 26 in the game by Chatziantoniou Xanthos from a close distance when the talented Douglas Christian managed to make a qualified save. Adelaide's players were relieved. Douglas Christian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slawomir Brysz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Slawomir Brysz had several of the Adelaide's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 29 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Douglas Christian as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Koper's goalkeeper Cveto Novinec, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Adelaide's goalkeeper Douglas Christian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chatziantoniou Xanthos. Chatziantoniou Xanthos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Douglas Christian firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 40 minutes, Slawomir Brysz made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Adelaide's Douglas Christian tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Koper's Cveto Novinec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darren Paynter in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute Slawomir Brysz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Christian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Slawomir Brysz in the 48th minute of play forced Adelaide's goalkeeper Douglas Christian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Darren Paynter made the kick off in the second half. Cveto Novinec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ethan Moorby in the 51st minute of play. Slawomir Brysz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Chatziantoniou Xanthos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Douglas Christian was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. 57 minutes into the match, Adelaide's goal looked a bit too open when Slawomir Brysz came free, but Douglas Christian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute Darren Paynter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cveto Novinec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chatziantoniou Xanthos in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Douglas Christian saved Adelaide from getting behind. Douglas Christian came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Koper's Slawomir Brysz. But to his dismay, Slawomir Brysz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Jeremy Palmington could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Cveto Novinec made a huge save. Darren Paynter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cveto Novinec having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Slawomir Brysz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Douglas Christian was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 76th minute Benny Chamberlain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cveto Novinec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Slawomir Brysz in the 79th minute of play forced Adelaide's goalkeeper Douglas Christian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th match minute, Adelaide was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Fasey to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Adelaide booed when FC Koper was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Slawomir Brysz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Douglas Christian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Slawomir Brysz in the 90th minute of the match. 6-0 became the score in the 96th minute when Slawomir Brysz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. FC Koper's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
