In the 9th minute, Tom Beaune made a precise shot to the right of Cássio da Silva. Cachaça FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anatol Hönes in the 11th minute of play forced Cachaça FC's goalkeeper Cássio da Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Nicolae Siclovan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guy Durant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lyon 69ers's Rodolphe Sol got a free kick in the 14th minute. Cássio da Silva came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Lyon 69ers's Anatol Hönes. But to his dismay, Anatol Hönes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Rodolphe Sol hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. André Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guy Durant having to interfere. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Anatol Hönes sped through Cachaça FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cássio da Silva. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Anatol Hönes put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Cássio da Silva. André Lira hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Betinho Custódio hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Cachaça FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anatol Hönes came free, but Cássio da Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cássio da Silva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anatol Hönes went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Cachaça FC's Tico Machado got a free kick in the 46th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cachaça FC's zone, Slaveyko Grúbchev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cássio da Silva came out of the goal and Slaveyko Grúbchev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicolae Siclovan to strike the kick off in the second half. Anatol Hönes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anatol Hönes in the 52nd minute of play forced Cachaça FC's goalkeeper Cássio da Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anatol Hönes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Cássio da Silva when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolae Siclovan in the 67th minute of play forced Lyon 69ers's goalkeeper Guy Durant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Anatol Hönes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cássio da Silva. That made the score 0-7 in the 68 minute of play. Anatol Hönes in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cássio da Silva, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cássio da Silva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tom Beaune's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Cássio da Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anatol Hönes in the 81st minute of play. Anatol Hönes in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cássio da Silva, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lyon 69ers's Anatol Hönes managed to work through Cachaça FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Anatol Hönes dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Lyon 69ers's Jean-Marc Gesbert was substituted for Wendell Borges. Lyon 69ers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Slaveyko Grúbchev in the 87th minute. A nice corner shot did that Camille Gautheron got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cássio da Silva quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With his leg Cássio da Silva managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Lyon 69ers's Anatol Hönes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Anatol Hönes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Cássio da Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mathias Lecanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Anatol Hönes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cássio da Silva was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Lyon 69ers's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
