An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Rostholm in the 7th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Alfonso Villamarin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Pepillo Servin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nichlas Vesterdahl was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Leones FC's Alfonso Villamarin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Rostholm in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to Randers A.F.C. getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Benjamin Vollmaris hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Leones FC's Oriol Loyola sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nichlas Vesterdahl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pepillo Servin in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nichlas Vesterdahl saved Randers A.F.C. from getting behind. Alfonso Villamarin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Rostholm, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Rostholm came free, but Alfonso Villamarin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oriol Loyola's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Nichlas Vesterdahl skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pepillo Servin to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Rostholm in the 55th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Alfonso Villamarin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Randers A.F.C. booed when Leones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oriol Loyola didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Randers A.F.C.'s Børge Buhr dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casado Arambula in the 65th minute of play forced Randers A.F.C.'s goalkeeper Nichlas Vesterdahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute Børge Buhr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Villamarin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Børge Buhr recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alfonso Villamarin. Børge Buhr showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Leones FC made a substitution. Teofilio Lorca replaced Oriol Loyola. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilio Lorca in the 73rd minute of play forced Randers A.F.C.'s goalkeeper Nichlas Vesterdahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Randers A.F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Liu Feng Zhen was slow to take the kick. During this time Leones FC's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Teofilio Lorca heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Randers A.F.C.'s Bruno Steenbeck was substituted for Rene Rostholm. A sloppy throw-in by Sigismund Ravnskjold in the 84th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Leones FC's Frances Muelas. 89 minutes into the match, Randers A.F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Teofilio Lorca came free, but Nichlas Vesterdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Randers A.F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
