Blas Soter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Angelo Melani made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charis Vlastaras in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Róbert Behúň saved FC Kukova from getting behind. Angelo Melani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gong Yang, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. FC Kukova's Róbert Behúň played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stevie Moore in the 28th minute of play. Angelo Melani made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Blas Soter sent off a good shot on target. Whity Pool United's Angelo Melani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Whity Pool United from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Blas Soter made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Stano Dubček shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Melani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55 minutes Whity Pool United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gregório Pimentel who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Stano Dubček got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Angelo Melani quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 55th minute, Stano Dubček ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Melani was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. With a little luck, FC Kukova's Róbert Behúň got control of the ball when Charis Vlastaras tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gong Yang took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Melani. Angelo Melani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. After a rather tough play, Whity Pool United's Graciano Caneira got a free kick in the 70th minute. A collision led to FC Kukova getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Jozef Šagáth hit a great ball. Angelo Melani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Blas Soter went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. 87 minutes into the match, Whity Pool United's goal looked a bit too open when Gong Yang came free, but Angelo Melani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gong Yang in the 96th minute of play forced Whity Pool United's goalkeeper Angelo Melani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
