Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Vincent Mossberg made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Folke Skoglund notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Telmo Madureira. Telmo Madureira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Vincent Mossberg sped through E.C 2 Janeiro RS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Telmo Madureira. Harald Fridlund came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Humberto Paes. But to his dismay, Humberto Paes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 20th minute The Green Fairies were awarded a corner. Leonardo Lindholm went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led The Green Fairies's Leonardo Lindholm to fire away a dangerous shot which Telmo Madureira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Folke Skoglund scored 1-3 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Telmo Madureira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Per-Erik Juhlin took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Telmo Madureira. Telmo Madureira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. After 32 minutes, Folke Skoglund made it 1-5 with a short kick to the right side. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Telmo Madureira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 37 minutes into the match, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goal looked a bit too open when Patrice Coker came free, but Telmo Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Telmo Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Folke Skoglund in the 42nd minute of play. Patrice Coker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Telmo Madureira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Telmo Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Folke Skoglund in the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Humberto Paes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Per-Erik Juhlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raphael de Salles's late challenge caught a The Green Fairies's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raphael de Salles helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd match minute, E.C 2 Janeiro RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphael de Salles to maneuver through the defense. After 55th play minutes Vincent Mossberg shot 1-7, a short shot which went by Telmo Madureira and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 60th minute Folke Skoglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the E.C 2 Janeiro RS defense, Folke Skoglund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Telmo Madureira. The E.C 2 Janeiro RS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Telmo Madureira should have stopped the shot. Telmo Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folke Skoglund in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute of the match Fellipe Rezende shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Harald Fridlund showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 73rd minute of the match, Vincent Mossberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Telmo Madureira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 74 minutes into the match, Folke Skoglund dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Telmo Madureira, 1-9. Folke Skoglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Telmo Madureira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Folke Skoglund came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the The Green Fairies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Folke Skoglund couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute, Folke Skoglund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute, Geraldo Eger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 90 minutes into the game, Albertinho Guedes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Green Fairies the free kick. Leonardo Lindholm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Vincent Mossberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Green Fairies's supporters rose to their feet, but Vincent Mossberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Telmo Madureira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched The Green Fairies eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
