Venancio Geleberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durvalino Cavalcante in the 10th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Itapema defense, Ismael Gumaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vitório Massa. The Itapema fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vitório Massa should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Itapema booed when Los Del Kllejon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Frasquito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Durvalino Cavalcante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Geleberto having to interfere. Vitório Massa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faustino Luar in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Sílvio Luís Goiano made a precise shot to the right of Venancio Geleberto. Los Del Kllejon FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Vitório Massa made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Faustino Luar sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd minute Ismael Gumaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitório Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Los Del Kllejon FC's Adrian Lopez was substituted for Samuel Toli. Vitório Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Gumaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ismael Gumaro in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vitório Massa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 54 minutes into the match, Itapema's goal looked a bit too open when Siegfried Knubel came free, but Vitório Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Durvalino Cavalcante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 57 minutes into the game, Los Del Kllejon FC's Algot Sundin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vitório Massa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. After 61 minutes of play, Los Del Kllejon FC's Ismael Gumaro made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vitório Massa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Siegfried Knubel took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vitório Massa. Vitório Massa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. After 72 minutes, Abel Normando made it 7-1 with a short kick to the right side. Itapema's Vitório Massa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vitório Massa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abel Normando's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Vitório Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Algot Sundin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Durvalino Cavalcante who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Venancio Geleberto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 83rd minute, Hilario Frasquito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vitório Massa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ismael Gumaro went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 9-1 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Los Del Kllejon FC had played much better football throughout.
